Live view, kiosk and sharing
The live globe, follow mode, replay, the TV kiosk, public share links and the embeddable widget.
The Live view is a dotted globe with everyone on your site right now, a live feed, counters and “now” panels. It is fed by a push stream (Server-Sent Events): a visit appears as soon as the server receives it, and the badge shows the measured latency.
What “live” means

Reading the globe

Visitors located only by country gather in a dashed halo at the country’s centre. Positions are city-level with a small deterministic offset, so exact coordinates are never drawn.
Follow and replay
- Follow: click a dot or a feed row. The camera locks on and their journey streams in: each page with time on page and scroll, clicks, events and revenue.
[and]move to the previous or next visitor. - Filters: every dashboard filter applies live, to the dots, the feed and the counters. Clicking a country on the globe filters to it.
- Replay: press
Rto replay any range up to 7 days at 1× to 3,600×, with a scrubber histogram and the day/night line. The replay URL can be shared.
Kiosk and TV
Add ?kiosk=1 to a Live URL, or press K, for a full-screen wall display: no chrome, a director camera that cuts to the most interesting events, automatic reconnection, and the screen kept awake.
https://globatics.live/share/SHARE_TOKEN/live?kiosk=1Streamer mode (S, always on for share links) hides revenue amounts and names, shows countries instead of cities and rounds counts, so you can put the screen on a stream.
Public share links
- Turn on sharing for a site to get a read-only link at
/share/TOKEN, with the dashboard and the Live view. - Visitors of the link never see names, user ids or e-mail addresses, and query strings are removed from the feed.
- Rotate the token to invalidate old links, or turn sharing off. Open streams are closed within 30 seconds.
Embed the live widget
With sharing on, any page can show “N people on this site right now” with a small live globe. Paste the iframe; it uses the share token and never shows identities.
