Changelog

New features, fixes and changes, newest first.

  1. Version 1.0

    Globatics 1.0

The first public release: live analytics on a dotted globe, with the full analytics, behavior and AI layers underneath, in one self-hostable app.

    Live

    • Live globe with every visitor online, pushed over Server-Sent Events, with the measured latency in the badge.
    • Follow mode, live filters, replay of any range up to 7 days at 1× to 3,600×.
    • Live sales with purchase bursts and arcs, friction pulses, moments and a live narrator.
    • Kiosk and TV mode with a director camera, streamer mode and opt-in sound.
    • An “Unlocated” orbit instead of fake pins for visitors without a usable location.

    Tracker

    • A cookieless core under 4 KB brotli, enforced by a CI test, with a lazy Web Vitals module under 1 KB.
    • SPA, hash routing, back/forward cache and prerender support.
    • Custom events with props and revenue, no-code data-glb-event attributes.
    • Outbound links, downloads, rage clicks, dead clicks, JavaScript errors, form submits and site search.
    • Opt-in persistence and identify, Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track support.

    Analytics

    • Overview with comparisons, pages, sources with a first-class AI-assistant channel, locations, devices and events.
    • Goals, funnels with a live step count, journeys, retention, revenue, engagement, Web Vitals and errors.
    • Sessions and visitor profiles with generated names and glyph avatars.

    Intelligence and platform

    • Insights, “why did this change?” explanations and Ask, all working offline; Claude optional.
    • A built-in, read-only MCP server and a REST API with API keys.
    • Alerts on by default with Slack, Discord and HMAC-signed webhooks.
    • Public share links, CSV, JSON and raw JSONL exports.

    Self-hosting

    • One Node.js app with one SQLite file, no feature gates.
    • A demo site with a live traffic simulator, and the Acme playground store.
