Why there is no consent banner

These cookies and keys are either strictly necessary for the service you ask for (sign-in, security) or remember a choice you made (theme, sidebar). Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act and the CNIL guidelines exempt them from consent. That is why globatics.live shows no banner: there is nothing to accept or refuse.

The Globatics tracker on our customers’ sites

  • By default, no cookie and nothing is written to visitors’ browsers: visits are counted with a daily identifier computed on the server, then forgotten.
  • data-persist (a customer option) stores a random id in local storage (globatics_vid) to recognise a visitor from one day to the next. This tracker is not exempt: the customer must collect the visitor’s consent before enabling it. It is never used when the browser sends Global Privacy Control.
  • globatics_ignore is only written in the browser of a site owner who chooses to exclude their own visits.

Each customer site remains responsible for informing its visitors. See the GDPR & CNIL guide and our privacy policy.

Third-party services

When you choose “Continue with Google” or pay for a subscription, you are sent to Google’s or Polar’s pages, on their own domains: their cookies fall under their own policies. globatics.live embeds no third-party content (video, social network, advertising).

Clearing this data

Signing out deletes the session cookie. You can clear cookies and local storage at any time from your browser settings; you will then be signed out and your display preferences will return to their defaults.
