Globatics vs Fathom Analytics

Fathom is a polished, closed-source analytics service with every feature on every plan and EU isolation. Its realtime panel shows how many people are on the site and where they are, and its docs describe data refreshed in 5-minute intervals. In October 2026 it added an AI tab and the Luna assistant. Globatics adds the live map, follow and replay, funnels and friction signals, and you can host it yourself.

Choose Fathom if

You want a managed service with no servers to run and 50+ sites on one plan.
You want every feature at every price tier, with EU isolation.
You are happy with daily-level reporting and a current-visitors count.

Choose Globatics if

You want visitors on a live globe within a second, not 5-minute intervals.
You need funnels, journeys, retention and rage clicks.
You want to self-host and use the API without it counting as traffic.

Switching from Fathom

Both tools are cookieless with a daily salt, so unique visitor counts should line up closely.
Fathom events with a value become Globatics events with a revenue option.
Keep both scripts during a transition; neither sets cookies.
