Privacy policy
Globatics is analytics built so you don’t need to know who your visitors are. We hold ourselves to the same standard. This page covers this website, accounts on this server (Cloud, free while in beta) and the waitlist for paid plans.
If you self-host Globatics
The data your own Globatics server collects belongs to you, and you decide how it’s used: you are the controller and this policy doesn’t apply to it. What the software stores is listed in Data fields and privacy.
What we collect
| When | What | Why |
|---|---|---|
| You browse this website | Nothing stored about you. Public pages set no cookies. | — |
| You join the waitlist for paid plans | Your e-mail address, the page you signed up from, the date. Not your IP address. | To write once, when paid plans and their prices are published (your consent) |
| You create an account | Your e-mail, name, a hash of your password (never the password), and one session cookie while you’re signed in. | To provide the service (contract) |
| You add a site | The analytics data your tracker sends, as described in Data fields and privacy. | To provide the service, on your instructions |
| You use Ask with Claude | Only if the server operator configured an Anthropic key: your question and aggregated numbers, never visitor-level data. | To answer your question |
Like any web server, ours processes your IP address to send you pages. Globatics never stores it with your account or with any analytics data.
Cookies
glb_session: keeps you signed in to the dashboard, for up to 30 days. Strictly necessary, set only after you sign in.- No analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, on this website or in the tracker.
Sharing
We don’t sell or rent personal data and don’t use it for advertising. We only share it with the providers that host the service, under contract, and with authorities when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Account data: until you delete your account.
- Waitlist addresses: until paid plans are published and we’ve told you, or until you ask us to delete yours.
- Analytics data: as set per site, 760 days (about 25 months) by default, then purged automatically.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it. Write to privacy@globatics.dev; we answer within 30 days. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
If you visited a site that uses Globatics
That site’s owner controls the data, so contact them first. Globatics doesn’t set cookies on their pages by default, doesn’t store your IP address and gives you a new anonymous id every day. Browsers that send Global Privacy Control are never followed across days.
Changes
We’ll update the date above when this policy changes, and e-mail account holders about significant changes.
